We meet twice a month on Zoom
Each meeting lasts one hour and includes one presentation
A lot of space is reserved for discussion (the heart of Psicostat)
Topics: innovative statistical methods in Psychology, theoretical tutorials, projects, experimental designs, reflections on research, and societal impact
Anyone is welcome to attend and present!
Omnia sunt communia! – All materials are shared, presenters can be contacted for info or collaborations
Presentations can serve as informal oral pre-registrations
International mailing list with ~300 members

ARCA

In 2021/22, ARCA Was Born

Applied Research Courses Academy (ARCA) [website]

Focused on applied research tools in Psychology
High-level technical-methodological skills
Courses for students to professors (for now!)
Each course: 20 hours, 10–15 participants
Some of the courses: PsychoPy3, EEGLAB, fNIRS, R, RMarkdown, Shiny Apps, Open Science Tools, Pupillometry

ARCA Summer School

The Summer School consists of four independent weekly modules, led by academic and non-academic experts about programming experiments, analyzing EEG, fNIRS and online Eye-Tracking data and literate programming with Quarto.
